As demand for our services has continued to grow, we have taken the opportunity to further expand our directly employed workforce. This forms part of our wider growth strategy and our ongoing commitment to providing customers with a consistent, reliable service through a strong team of directly employed engineers.

Paul joins us with extensive experience across industrial and commercial electrical installations and maintenance, most recently working within the maintenance team at Games Workshop. In his new role, he will support our team on one of our medical framework contracts, carrying out EICR testing, general electrical installation works and project work.

Speaking about his appointment, Paul said: “I’m really pleased to have joined Overton at a time when the business is continuing to grow, and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience across industrial and commercial electrical to the team, working alongside the wider business on the company’s framework contracts.

“Overton has a strong reputation within the industry and I’m excited to be part of the team and contribute to the high standards of work the company is known for.”

The appointment reflects our continued investment in the team and our commitment to maintaining the skills and experience needed to support customers across an expanding range of projects and locations.

Our aim is to have 90% of our workforce directly employed, while dedicating members of our team to individual customer locations wherever possible. This approach provides greater continuity for our clients, helps minimise issues when attending sites and allows us to maintain the high level of service our customers expect.

Matt Brocklehurst, Director of Overton Electrical Services, said: “We have experienced sustained growth over recent years and felt the time was right to strengthen our directly employed team. Bringing Paul into the business is an important part of our plans and gives us the opportunity to continue building a strong team around our customers.

“Paul brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business and this growth is also a reflection of the trust our customers place in us. We are extremely proud to be recommended across the region and to have built a reputation for delivering high-quality electrical, fire alarm, intruder alarm and mechanical installations.”

As we continue to grow, we remain focused on building a strong, experienced team that can provide customers with the continuity, expertise and quality of service they have come to expect from Overton Electrical Services.
